Good News

We believe that being in a right relationship with God happens when someone trusts Jesus Christ to be their Savior and Lord. God created us to be in relationship with Him, but because man is born and continues to live outside the will of God, a sacrifice was necessary for us to be in right relationship with Him. That sacrifice came through the death, burial, and resurrection of God’s sinless son Jesus Christ. Sin, or man’s disobedience to God, prevents our ability to have right relationship with God, but because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we can be presented to God blameless. The ability to have that right relationship is a gift given in the person of Jesus Christ by God, not based upon our works, but because He is gracious and loving. Once the decision is made to trust Jesus, the Bible tells us to follow Jesus’ example of being baptized as a symbol of the change that has happened in our lives. We are also told to study the Bible to learn how God wants us to live, and to join a fellowship of believers for accountability and to share the good news of Jesus Christ to the world.
